1. Matchbook Portal First time Users #
Upon subscribing to Matchbook Services (MBS) Portal, an organization has its own designated portal.
The portal’s URL has the following format: https://<Your-Domain>.my.matchbookservices.com
Users are able to sign directly into the organization portal using one of the options below:
- Email ID and password (shown in the picture below)
- SAML integration (Single Sign-On, i.e. auto-login using one’s organization network credentials)
Note: Matchbook Service portal can also be accessed through Rest API services, which are discussed in a separate article.
Initial Login Steps #
New users added by Matchbook will receive a welcome email similar to the one below:
Hi <User name>,
Your account has been created for Matchbook Services. To log in, please go to matchbookservices.com.
Click on login, enter your custom domain <new-user> and click continue.
On the login page, please log in using <newuser@sample.com> as your login id and <newuser>@123 as your temporary password.

Once you’ve received your welcome email, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to your domain for Matchbook Services, and enter the email address used in the welcome email sent to you. For the password, enter the temporary password provided in the welcome email. Click Sign In.
- Upon clicking to sign in, you will be prompted to reset your password. Enter your same email address as above and your new password. Click Reset.
- You will be redirected to your custom login page, where you will re-enter your same email address as above as well as your newly created password. Click Sign In.
- You will be sent an email verification code. Please enter that code in the appropriate place. Click Verify Code when done.
- Accept the Licensing Agreement. Click Continue.
- Select a Security Question and Answer. Click Submit.
7. You have successfully logged in and should see the main Dashboard page.
2. Forgot Password (or No Welcome Email Received) Steps #
These steps can be used for users who either forgot their passwords or never received the welcome email.
- Click on the “Forgot password” link in your instance of Matchbook.
- Provide your email address associated with Matchbook Services. Click Reset Password.
- You will receive a password confirmation email.
4. Go to your email and click the link (“Click here”). This will redirect to a new page where you will create a new password. Enter your email address and create a new password. When done, click Reset.
5. You will receive a reset password confirmation note. You can log into your Matchbook instance by selecting “Click here to log in”
- You will be redirected to the login page where you will enter your email and newly created password.
- Select a Security Question and Answer. Click Submit.
8. You have successfully logged in and should see the main Dashboard page.
3. Reset Password #
Users can change their password any time from the Main Dashboard page.
- Click your username on the Main Dashboard.
- Click on Reset Password.
- Enter your new password and click Reset Password.
- You will be redirected to the main login page, where you will need to enter your email associated with Matchbook as well as your newly created password.
- Once you have updated your password, you will receive a “Success” message. Your password has now been successfully reset.
