Matchbook AI Ranked on the Inc. 5000 Just in Time to Celebrate Five-Year Anniversary
In my role, I regularly meet with data executives of FORTUNE 500 companies. It amazes me that in this era of technology and solutions, enterprises continue to struggle with effectively using external data in their decision-making pipeline — despite spending millions on data licensing. The disconnect continues when trying to monitor the effectiveness of those decisions based on changing market conditions.
I’ve been a data enthusiast for many years, working to solve some of the most complex data issues industry faces. Recently, I’ve been reflecting on 2018 when Matchbook AI took shape to address the significant need for an enterprise-level platform that would be a single point of integration and management for external data and the enterprise.
Today, I’m proud to say that five years later — almost to the day, we have grown to more than 30 customers, many of which are ranked in the top FORTUNE 500, more than 70 employees, and early investors that believe in our growth story. It’s incredible how far we’ve come.
For the first time, Matchbook AI also is named to the Inc. 5000, ranking 2067, an honor that highlights the incredible work of our team. Apropos for Matchbook AI, this prestigious list provides a data-driven look at the most successful companies within the economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent, entrepreneurial businesses. It represents companies that have driven rapid revenue growth while navigating inflationary pressure, the rising costs of capital, and seemingly intractable hiring challenges. In all, this year’s Inc. 5000 companies have added 1,187,266 jobs to the economy over the past three years.
I’m so proud of the company we have created, the innovations we are making, and the successes our customers are experiencing. We still have a lot of work to do, especially as we enter the Series A funding phase, but I feel so confident in the path we are now on.
As we continue building a category-defining external data platform that powers intelligent decisions for business, I’m even more excited and motivated than I was in those early days – and my enthusiasm for how we add tremendous value to enterprises is stronger than ever.
